Driving Sustainability Efforts
In 2010, The Home Depot Foundation launched the Sustainable Cities Institute, an online resource for cities across the US.
Idea Engineering worked closely with The Home Depot Foundation to develop the name and branding for this significant undertaking. We designed and managed development of the online portal built with a custom content management system.
The complex database of information, interactive Sustainable City map, forums and shared marketing tools are presented in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-access format, yet, built in a way that is easy-to-use and manage by The Home Depot Foundation.
Promotion of the site included direct mail with a flash drive linking to the website.
In 2012, SCI is transitioning to the National League of Cities and we are working with NLC to refresh the branding while maintaining consistency.
