The Santa Barbara Regional Health Authority was asked to take over their struggling sister-organization in San Luis Obispo County. Thus, a name change was needed. Recognizing the stigma that may accompany presenting a public insurance card, Idea Engineering worked to come up with a name that felt as natural to the clients and doctors as any commercial health plan.
The Santa Barbara Regional Health Authority, as recognition for their successes in administrating Medi-Cal and Medicaid in Santa Barbara County, was asked to take over their struggling sister-organization in San Luis Obispo County. Thus, a name change was needed.
Recognizing the stigma that may accompany presenting a public insurance card, Idea Engineering worked to come up with a name that felt as natural to the clients and doctors as any commercial health plan. CenCal Health was very warmly received by the organization and the community. The stigma reducing effects of the new brand have been widely recognized.
Idea Engineering’s “Fentanyl is Forever” campaign targets a broad swath of demographics to spread knowledge of the threat of fentanyl to communities across our nation. Our goal is to make people aware and averse to street fentanyl and to seek out local resources for help.
