Story:
Community Action Commission of Santa Barbara County was a large nonprofit that most people had never heard of. They did very important work toward eradicating the effects of poverty, but to most people in the community they were invisible and to many potential donors, their name suggested government funding and thus garnered lukewarm fundraising response.
CAC wanted a new name that better introduced the community to the critically important work that they do and a new brand that could reinvigorate their staff, destigmatize their clients, and supercharge their fundraising efforts.
In response to these needs, Idea Engineering interviewed stakeholders, clients and staff, and leaned on our deep experience working with nonprofits, as well as our research, writings, and work on destigmatization. From this intensive brand study, a Brand Platform was created on which to base a new name, new logo and new positioning and marketing.
In addition to custom campaigns, Idea Engineering's award-winning team builds complete, customized turn-key campaigns that can be deployed immediately and used in their entirety or as separate building blocks as budget and goals dictate.
Our Turn-Key Campaigns bring together expert research and best practices – combined with our broad experience in branding, positioning and strategic communications – to develop relevant and effective campaigns on critical issues facing our communities.
Idea Engineering’s “Fentanyl is Forever” campaign targets a broad swath of demographics to spread knowledge of the threat of fentanyl to communities across our nation. Our goal is to make people aware and averse to street fentanyl and to seek out local resources for help.
